IRC envisions schools that focus on the ‘development of children as peaceful and responsible citizens who can meet the challenges of work and life’.IRC focuses on providing quality services and resources to its students and teachers; a resourceful library, computer lab, play ground and proper water and sanitation facilities are available.

1: Education in mother tongue – Sindhi mainly;
2: Strong Community participation – parental involvement;
3: Local female teachers preferred;
4: Rigorous teachers’ training Modules and Follow-ups;
5: Life Skills Based Education including reproductive health awareness for students and community;
6: Admission policy: boys can only be enrolled if a girl from the family is studying at the school;
7: Strong cultural orientation.

76 girls who studied at IRC schools have come back as teachers in their own schools, they give back to their communities and enable the new generation to aim even higher.
